TOYO TIRES ® POSTS HUGE CONTINGENCY AT CRANDON RACEWAY

CYPRESS, CA -- The two most celebrated short course, high performance off-road races in the country -- this coming weekend's FCP Chairman's Cup Heavy Metal Challenge and the BorgWarner Shootout from Crandon International Off-Road Raceway -- will feature a whopping contingency totaling $12,000 from Toyo Tires ® in 2007.

The contingency posting for the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) events was announced by Stan Chen, Manager, Events and Motorsports, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation. Toyo Tires has posted $6,000 per showdown race to eligible racers on Toyo tires. Overall winners on Toyo tires for either event will take home $5,000 from Toyo Tires on top of the huge winner's purses.

The company also announced the posting of $1,000 to the first 2-wheel drive pickup in either race to take the checkers if equipped with Toyo tires.

The Potawatomi Chairman's Cup race, scheduled for Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Crandon's annual Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run Races presented by Herculiner (June 23-24) is the longest running Challenge race of its type in the country. The 2007 running will be the 14th annual and has a record number of entries.

The 2007 BorgWarner Shootout -- a similar race featuring the BorgWarner Manufacturers' Challenge Cup valued at $125,000, began in 1995. That race is held annually as the ultimate off-road racing showdown at the BorgWarner World Championship Off-Road Races ®.

Toyo Tires ® has been a major sponsor at Crandon Raceway since 2005 and has signed with the track through the 2008 season.

Both events feature the country's top professional off-road racers competing in high performance, high horsepower 4x4 (PRO 4x4) and 2-wheel drive pickup trucks (PRO 2WD and SRT Super Trucks) over Crandon's rough and tumble 1.5-mile track. The top 2-wheel drive trucks receive a handicap start.

Californian Curt LeDuc, one of the leading competitors racing on Toyo Tires, is a two time winner of the FCP Chairman's Cup and won the 1998 BorgWarner Shootout.

"We are pleased to post this important contingency amount at Crandon Raceway for these prestigious World Series events," said Chen. "Crandon is the 'World Capital of Off-Road Racing' and we are anxious to put Toyo Tires on top at the country's number one off-road venue," he said.

Top guns for Toyo Tires on the 2007 WSORR circuit and at Crandon this year include Ben Wandahsega, Dave Waldvogel, Kevin Probst, Jon Probst and George Schultz, Ross Hoek, Josh Hintz, Rick Huseman, Jesse Jones; Curt, Todd and Kyle LeDuc. All Team Toyo Off-Road drivers will be competing on Toyo's Open Country M/T tires.

2007 off-road action kicks off at Crandon Raceway June 23-24 with two rounds of Lucas Oil WSORR competition at the FCP Brush Run Races. The weekend features 11 classes of off-road racing each day. The grand finale of the weekend is the Potawatomi Heavy Metal Challenge for the Cup.

Later in the year, Crandon hosts the annual off-road World Championships over Labor Day weekend, August 31-September 2.
