Douglas Motorsports Takes Round 3

Crandon, WI (June 23, 2007) - Scott Douglas came to Crandon looking to extend his win streak at the Off-Road Racing's "Big House." The Northern Wisconsin racetrack offered perfect weather conditions and ideal track prep allowing the huge crowd to witness an awesome day of competition.

After starting from the second row, the #7 AMSOIL Kumho Tire Sycuan Resort & Casino KC Hilites Ford F-150 tucked in behind Kent Brasho exiting Potawatomi Turn One holding onto second place.

On lap 4, Scott came out of Turn Eight, in the lead. The #7 AMSOIL Kumho Tire truck lead the rest of the way coming home with the win.

Afterwards Scott Douglas commented, "I really wanted to race Kent Brasho clean. I was waiting for him to make a mistake, but he really held his own. I finally got him to go too deep into that final turn and grabbed the top spot. Then the AMSOIL kept the engine and transmission running strong getting the power to the Kumho Tires. That makes four straight victories at Crandon."

Scott Douglas is referring to the two division wins and the BorgWarner World Championship win in September, 2006.

Scott Douglas looks to extend his streak tomorrow, he competes in WSORR Round 4 as well as the Chairman's Cup Heavy Meal Challenge.
