The new season of Indian AWD Challenge got going at Mudigere in the outskirts of Bangalore with three categories - Jeep, Gypsy and Open in play.
The event started with the Recce round on Saturday as the drivers got themselves up to speed with the rally track and their cars.
After early morning scrutinizing on Sunday, the race was flagged off as the jeep class drivers made it comfortably through the first and second stage prepared by the organisers.
The tough and slippery terrain in the morning two stages posed a challenge for many drivers and co-drivers, but they made it through safely before lunch was taken.
Post-lunch, the third and final stage took place to decide the winner of the Mudigere round.
Ultimately, the team of Sudin and Nagesh were declared the winner in the jeep class ahead of Hemanth Gowda and Bopaiah Gagan.
In the gypsy class, the team of Supradeep and Sarthak won the round as Nithin and Nischal were second and Ajay Shetty and Srirag third.
While in the open and third class, Michu Ganapathy and Thimmu took the win with Narthan and Abhishek finishing second.
