Sponsorship package is one key ingredient

Indianapolis, Ind. (January 21, 2005)-Lucas Oil, the Series Title Sponsor for Championship Off Road Racing since 2002, signed a 3-year extension as the Title Sponsor for the CORR Lucas Oil Series through the 2007 season.

"Anytime you are able to secure a company such as Lucas Oil as a sponsor, it is a tremendous asset," noted Jamie Devney, Director of Marketing for Championship Off Road Racing. "Lucas Oil has been a major reason why the series has continued to prosper."

Lucas Oil's world wide presence in racing continues to expand. Currently, Lucas supports over 200 race teams across America, as well as sponsoring racers in Canada, England, Australia and Germany.

"The last four years Lucas Oil Products overall has had meteoric like growth," said Lucas Oil General Manager & CFO Tom Fredrickson. "CORR has been part of that growth plan. The exposure we receive from the series exemplifies the type of successes we have chosen to promote our product line."

In addition to Lucas Oil's Series Title Sponsorship, they will also continue their contingency program, an added bonus for the Pro & Sportsman Series drivers.

In the Pro Series, Lucas Oil will pay for the entire season entry for the division champion who uses a Lucas Oil windscreen decal. Qualified second- place finishers will receive 50% off their entry fees courtesy of Lucas, and third-place qualified drivers will receive a 25% discount. For the Sportsman 2, Stock, Super Buggy, Single Buggy, and Light Buggy divisions, Lucas offers cash and product.

Over the first three years of Lucas Oil's sponsorship, the off-road racing environment has provided Lucas Oil an opportunity to introduce their numerous products to those who need it the most.

"Racing of all types has experienced tremendous gains in popularity within our targeted audience," noted Fredrickson. "It gives us an avenue to reach those persons that are prospects for the use of our products."
