Federico, O'Donnell, & Zoetmulder come together to form TEAM STICKER DUDE.
It's official; CORR competitors, Steven Federico, Lee O'Donnell, and Luke Zoetmulder have joined forces to become Team Sticker Dude. Veterans Federico and O'Donnell compete in the Pro-Lite division, while Zoetmulder will begin his sophomore season in the ultra competitive Sportsman Single Buggy division.
"Getting the three of us under one umbrella allows us to pool our resources together and it will ultimately improve our results at the track, as well as maximize our exposure for our marketing partners," comments Steven Federico.
One of the first benefits of the merger is the addition of a new 48' transporter and motor home. In conjunction to the new transporter, two additional trailers will carry spare race parts and hospitality supplies to every event.
The team will be based in Lake Zurich, Illinois, a suburb northwest of Chicago, in a new 8000sq. ft. facility adjacent to Luke Zoetmulder's, nationally known Sticker Dude Designs.
"One of our goals is to have Luke join Lee and myself in the Pro-Lite division in 2007. This will allow us to gather and share huge amounts of information to keep everyone competing at the highest level. You see multi-car teams in other forms of racing like NASCAR, we want to emulate that type of team," states Federico.
Team Sticker Dude 'Drivers
Steven Federico -- Pro Lite #24. Steven is a veteran CORR competitor. Some of his accomplishments include a Single Buggy championship in 1999. Since 2000 he has competed in the Pro-Lite Division consistently finishing in the top 5. In 2005 Steven was leading the championship at the halfway point before some bad luck struck. Still the team finished the season in 3rd place. Steven is also known as the 'John Force' (for his constant acknowledgement and 'IN YOUR FACE 'attitude in which he promotes his sponsors) of Championship Off-Road Racing.
Lee O'Donnell -- Pro-Lite #23. Lee, like Steven, is a seasoned CORR competitor. His career began in Super Buggy and moved on to Pro-Lite. Lee is consistently running among the front-runners. After finishing 6th for the 2005 season, Lee purchased a new truck and competed in the high stakes Nissan Nationals finishing 3rd. A great feat considering the drivers that joined him on the podium compete with much larger budgets. The 2006 season should be very interesting. Lee, one of the more quiet CORR racers off the track, let's his driving do the talking.
Luke Zoetmulder -- Single Buggy #342. Luke has a strong racing background on pavement and snow. In 2005 Luke ran a limited CORR schedule due to his race commitments on pavement. The 2006 season should see Luke 'The Sticker Dude' Zoetmulder breakthrough and compete with the frontrunners of the division.
