5-time Pro-2 champion Scott Taylor on the ballot for the 2003 Auto Racing All-America Team

Indianapolis, Ind. (November 26, 2003)-Scott Taylor, the all-time leader in Championship Off Road Racing victories with 34 wins in 93 starts, including five consecutive Pro-2 championships, is nominated in the At Large category for the 2003 American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association All- American Team.

Taylor was on the ballot two other times, receiving Honorable Mention in the At Large category in 2001.

In 13 starts during the 2003 CORR Lucas Oil Pro Series, Taylor had 6 victories and 13 top-five finishes. In 2003, Taylor won the Pro Precision Gear Driver of the Year for the third year in a row.

"Scott's accomplishments in Championship Off Road Racing are indeed worthy of recognition," said CORR President Marty Reid. "To see his name among the best in racing, representing the CORR Lucas Oil Series is impressive".

Nearly 300 members of the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association vote from six drivers in the Open Wheel, Stock Car, Road Racing, Drag Racing, Short Track, Touring Series and At Large categories.

AARWBA members have chosen an All-America Auto Racing team since 1970. The banquet will be held in Pomona, Calif. on January 10, 2004. The banquet is open to the public. For ticket information, call (818) 842-7005.
