Over $100,000 available to Sportsman drivers competing in New York.

Avon, Ind. (March 27, 2002)In order to give the CORR Sportsman drivers an incentive to compete during the non-points paying event at the Unadilla Valley Sports Center in Edmeston, New York on May 25-26, all CORR Contingency Sponsors will reward those competing in the five CORR Sportsman divisions.

"This says volumes on the quality and dedication of our contingency sponsors," said Jim Conner, Contingency Director. "With their full-fledged support, that will give the drivers in the five Sportsman divisions an opportunity to race in New York."

Although the event will not be for year-end points in the CORR Lucas Oil Sportsman Series, the Robinson Family invited the drivers from the Sportsman 2, Stock, Super Buggy, Single Buggy, and Light Buggy divisions to take part in the inaugural CORR event at the Unadilla Valley Sports Center.

In addition to the contingency money offered by the CORR sponsors, the track will also offer a purse for the two rounds of racing.
