Huseman Racing Heads to LA Fairplex-Pomona with plans for MONSTER Winning Race Weekend in CORR Rounds 9 & 10

Riverside, CALIFORNIA - Returning to a race track that has treated Rick Huseman and his race team very good, the No.3 FABTECH/Toyo Tires/Toyota TRD/MONSTER Energy Pro 4 is one of the clear favorites in Rounds 9 & 10 of the 2008 Championship Off Road Racing Series.

In June's Round 6, which was also held at LA Fairplex-Pomona, Rick Huseman drove his Toyota TRD powered Pro 4 to victory lane after an incredible performance throughout the .76 mile purpose-built Southern California race track. Huseman's victory was the pinnacle of entertainment that race weekend, as not only did he claim the top honors in front of a solid packed house of 9,000 CORR fans, but he was also the featured Pro 4 winner on NBC Sports TV over the July 4th weekend when NBC televised the tape-delayed CORR Round 6 show.

Coming back to this Pomona track tends to be a lot of fun for Rick Huseman Racing; it's like attending a high-school reunion. With the explosive advertising campaign that Championship Off Road Racing has launched in the weeks leading up to Rounds 9 and 10, the Southern California racing veteran is huge hit in the pits. RHR has a large following of fans in the world of Championship Off Road Racing and combined with the extensive group of friends and family, there is never a shortage of rousing cheers for the blue No.3 Pro 4.

The Riverside native commented, "It's really a lot of fun for our team to race at LA Fairplex-Pomona. It's close to home and we have lots of friends and family here in the pits. This track has been good to me and we have had great success in the past. The competition at Pro 4 level is so tight and guys are really pushing fast speeds through these big bumps that it's amazing. Our racing partners FABTECH, Toyota TRD and Toyo Tires have been working very closely with us on race truck set up for each track and it's really made a big difference. We expect big things to happen this weekend and we are looking forward to putting on a great show and ending up in the winner's circle with our truck."

After 8 Rounds of Championship Off Road Racing, Rick Huseman has two victories to go along with his impressive five Top 5's, which puts him in third place overall in the CORR Pro 4 Championship point's race, a mere 13 points from the top spot.

"The second half of the season is always something special for our team. We have solid setups for each of the tracks by this time in the season and the crew continues to work hard towards getting faster each time we hit the dirt. With eight races left, we're in great position to battle for the series championship. You can be sure that we will squeeze out every opportunity for victory as we head towards the end of the season.

Fans are encouraged to visit the Rick Huseman Racing Pit Zone that features a display by FABTECH Motorsports and plenty of MONSTER Energy Drink floating around the pits. Rick and his crew will be in the pits signing autograph hero cards throughout the day, so take advantage of the opportunity and stop by at the Rick Huseman Racing Pit Zone.

Saturday's Round 9 of the 2008 CORR Series will be broadcasted on Speed Channel on live with coverage beginning at 2:00 p.m. PST. Sunday's Round 10 will be broadcasted on Sunday, September 14, 10:30 a.m. to noon on NBC Sports.
