BFGoodrich is Official Tire of CORR Lucas Oil Series for sixth straight season.

GREENVILLE, S.C. - For the sixth consecutive year, BFGoodrich( will be the official tire of the CORR Lucas Oil Series, a position it has held since the series' debut in 1998.

"We are very pleased to once again be part of CORR. Participating in the series is a great way for us to showcase the performance of our BFGoodrich( T/A( line of light-truck and SUV tires," said Frank DeAngelo, who manages the BFGoodrich Tires off-road racing program. "What a lot of people may not realize is that many of the teams compete on the same tires that are available to consumers. We also use the series as a proving ground for testing new concepts that could eventually find their way into our off-the- shelf products. BFGoodrich has a history of using the extremes of motorsports for developing the technologies of the future, and CORR gives us the opportunity to continue that tradition."

In addition to being the official tire of the series, BFGoodrich will also provide on-site support and a lucrative contingency program for competitors running on BFGoodrich T/As, America's premier performance off-road tire line.

Valued at $145,000, this year's program includes $10,000 for championships in the Pro 2 and Pro 4 classes, $5,000 for a Pro Lite title, and awards for individual race wins in the Pro classes, as well as the Sportsman truck and Sportsman buggy divisions.

The familiar BFGoodrich Tires tractor-trailer, which will be on site at each event, will be staffed with tire technicians to help teams with tire selection, custom grooving and mounting, as well as advice on setup and inflation pressures.

"Our teams delivered awesome results last year, and we're looking forward to an even more successful 2003 season," DeAngelo said. "We're also looking forward to another year of excellent opportunities for hosting our customers at the events. Besides enjoying the fender-to-fender competition, they can see first hand just how good our tires perform under extreme conditions. The experience helps them explain to consumers the advantages that BFGoodrich( tires offer."

In 2002, BFG teams captured seven of a possible eight championships, claimed both the Governor's Cup and the Borg Warner Trophy, and took about 70 percent of all class wins.

BFGoodrich Tires (www.bfgoodrichtires.com), made for people looking to take control of the driving experience, combine technological expertise with the knowledge gained in motorsports to offer a traction advantage for almost every type of vehicle and driving preference.
