(Indianapolis) Championship Off Road Racing has named Brad Folck as the organizations new Media Relations Director. A native of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Brad graduated from Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee with a degree in communications.
While there, Brad served as Assistant to Public Relations/Sports Information. Since graduation, Brad worked at the Elizabethton Star newspaper as a staff writer covering sports.
Brad replaces Kitty Parsons, who resigned to spend more time with her family as well as her role as a board member in Championship Auto Racing Auxiliary (CARA). Kitty is considering an offer from CORR to continue in a part time role with the organization.
CORR President Marty Reid said, "I want to welcome Brad Folck to the CORR family. His addition will strengthen our efforts to get the CORR message to the public. I also want to thank Kitty Parsons for all of her hard work and dedication. No one brings more enthusiasm to her work than Kitty. I hope she will find time in her very full schedule to accept our offer and stay involved with CORR on a part-time basis.
"I am excited to begin my career with CORR," said Folck. "It will be great to meet everyone associated with CORR, including the sponsors, promoters, media, and drivers at our first race in Antigo, Wisconsin in June. I am looking forward to meeting everyone involved with CORR, and we are ready for a great season of racing."
