Indianapolis, Ind. (November 5, 2003)-Three time defending Stock champion Mark Kleiman won the 2003 KC Hilites Championship Award, taking home a $1200 check from KC Hilites at the 2003 CORR Lucas Oil Series Awards banquet last Saturday in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Kleiman finished with 161 points on the season.

Three-time Single Buggy champion Michael Seefeldt finished second in the KC Hilite Championship standings with 152 points. A check for $900 was given to Seefeldt for his accomplishments. Mike Oberg, the 2001 Sportsman 2 champion, finished second in the division with 141 points, which placed him third in the KC Hilites Championship Standings. Oberg received $400 from KC Hilites.

In 2003, KC Hilites increased the championship purse from $2,000 to $2,500. In 2002, Seefeldt and Kleiman tied for the annual championship. Racers qualified by using two KC Daylighters and covers as well as the display of KC Hilites decals. KC Hilites has supported off-road racers throughout the country for more than 30 years.
