Cadiente Primed for G&R Racing's Return to Terrible's Town

Mesa, Arizona -- (April 23, 2007) Garron Cadiente drove his No.38 Trophy Truck to victory at the Best in the Desert Terrible's Town 250 in 2006. He is poised to repeat victory after an extended break since his last race at the SCORE Baja 250. "The Terrible's Town 250 is a great race. Last season I had a flawless run here and we won. The team has had a six-week break between races and we've taken that opportunity to ready our team for this race. Geiser Brothers has prepped both of our trucks and I'm going to be charging hard towards the finish line," said Cadiente.

G&R Racing drivers Ron Whitton and Garron Cadiente raced the 2007 BITD season opener, the Parker 425, where Ron finished in the top five claiming the fourth position in the trophy truck class. Garron suffered a broken ring and pinion that dashed team hopes for victory at Parker.

[IMAGE]The Southern Nevada desert has suffered a lack of precipitation during the winter and the remnants of the harsh weather conditions have rendered the race course in harsh and silty conditions. Supported by the leaders in off road racing technology, G&R Racing's sponsors continue to develop race products providing Garron and Ron the best opportunity to win races.

G&R Racing's dynamic trophy truck drivers joined BITD Promoter-Casey Folks for the Terrible's Town 250 pre-run and they are primed for the Southern Nevada sprint. Ron explained, "Prerunning is some of the most fun we have. I have a new Ford F-150 Geiser Brothers prerunner truck fitted with BFGoodrich Tires and it works almost as good as my race truck. I'm looking forward to this race."

G&R Racing invites everyone to stop by the race hauler located at BITD Technical and Contingency Inspection to visit with Ron Whitton and Garron Cadiente and team members. Visit the team website at www.gnrracing.com
