NHRA Pro Stock driver Jason Line used his Saturday performance of 6.568 at 210.34 in his Chevy Camaro to secure the No. 1 spot for the seventh time this year and 48th time in his career. Line, a two-time world champion, won this event in 2011 as the No. 1 qualifier and also sprinted to victory here in 2013. He leads the points with eight victories and five runner-up finishes this season. Line will race Alan Prusiensky Sunday morning at the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals held at the Texas Motorplex.
