NHRA teams always look forward to the challenge of the U.S. Nationals at the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis for their marquee classic event which locks up the top 10 for the Countdown to the Championship.
Capps took the Funny Car victory over his teammate Hagan at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway. Massey grabbed the Top Fuel win. In Pro Stock, it was Edwards who celebrated.
This is special event within an event pays cash to the top finishers.
Brandon Bernstein, John Force, Mike Edwards and Hector Arana Jr. are top qualifiers at Auto Club NHRA finals in Pomona.
Lucas, Edwards and M. Smith also earn No. 1 qualifying positions at O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Route 66 Nationals in Chicago.

At the Summit Racing NHRA Nationals in Norwalk Motorsports Park, Top Fuel saw a first time winner this year while Gray notched his fourth in 2014. Mike Edwards won Pro Stock cars with Matt Smith taking the Pro Stock Motorcycle victory.
