PRO STOCK TRUCK

John Lingenfelter (Summit Racing GMC Sonoma) - We're doing better today. We are hooked up a lot better then we were yesterday. We're 2-hundredths better at the 60-foot line so that is good. The first six trucks are all fastest in the left lane. Yesterday it was seven. But other than the 60-foot I think the lanes are pretty equal. It's usually slick when we run after the Fuel cars so there may be absolutely not difference in the lanes after they run. We're going to switch engines, and test it out and see what it does for the next session. Maybe we can even go faster which is what we're hoping for." No. 7 qualifier - 7.610ET/175.21MPH

Rick Jones (Country Motors Trailer Sales GMC Sonoma) - "We're going to switch engines and see if that's our problem. We had the clutch in there a couple of different ways and tried different combinations and haven't found the problem. It is just running so slow. We hope that changing engines will help us. We borrowed this engine from David (Spitzer). We just have the one, so we thought we would try David's. I am very thankful that he is allowing us to use it. It's really great how people help you out around here. The atmosphere is just amazing around here. So we're going to go out there and see if this can help us any." No. 22 qualifier - 7.657ET/174.98MPH

David Spitzer (Sunnen/Dynagear GMC Sonoma) - "This Sunnen/Dynagear GMC Sonoma is running how we've wanted it to for a long time. It's a great feeling to have it finally running good. We are pretty solid in the field and feel really good about tomorrow. We let Rick (Jones) borrow one of our engines. I know what it's like to be struggling and understand what he's going through. We wish him the best tonight. But we feel really good about where we are and are very pleased. It's a good feeling to finally be able to say that we feel good. Now if we can just go out there tomorrow and go a few rounds - that would be great!" No. 6 qualifier - 7.609ET/175.52MPH
