"Last weekend we did great in qualifying, getting the pole and winning the Full Throttle award, but we came out on Sunday and wanted to continue our streak of going rounds, but these cars can be tough. I'm excited about St. Louis for two reasons, first we'll be flying the colors of Fabick Cat, and we want to get the points lead back. We're only 19 points out of first place. That motivates us."

The Las Vegas resident earned his third career No. 1 qualifying award last weekend at Atlanta Dragway. He grabbed the pole with a 4.506-second elapsed time.

Fuller enters the St. Louis race ranked second in the Top Fuel

standings trailing points-leader Brandon Bernstein by 19 points. Fuller relinquished his points lead last weekend in Atlanta for the first time since Feb. 25.

Last June at Gateway, Fuller earned his first career Top Fuel pole when he blasted his Valvoline dragster to the No. 1 qualifying position with a run of 4.551 seconds.

Fuller has qualified no lower than third this season with one pole (Atlanta). He has an average starting position of 2.17.

Fuller has advanced to at least the semifinals at seven of the last 10 races, with one victory (Phoenix 2007) and two runner-up finishes (Dallas and Richmond 2006).
