Gann Qualifies Ninth for Sunday's Eliminations; XTreme Rebellion/RumBum Buell improves in every round in Sonoma

SONOMA, Calif. -- The theory behind a successful set of qualifying rounds is that a team should get better every time and Shawn Gann and his XTreme Rebellion/RumBum Buell crew have done just that this weekend at Infineon Raceway. The NHRA Full Throttle Pro Stock Motorcycle team shaved more than .2 seconds off their Q1 time from Friday to enter Sunday's Fram Autolite NHRA Nationals eliminations ninth with an ET of 7.012 and a speed of 190.70 mph.

"We feel good about what we've done this weekend, real good," Gann said. "Our XTreme Rebellion/RumBum Buell has run like a champ all weekend and we've improved with every round. Now, it's up to me to get good lights tomorrow and win some rounds."

Gann faces Matt Guidera (7.010 ET, 186.85 mph) in Rd. 1 Sunday morning. Defending PSM champ Eddie Krawiec is on the pole with an ET of 6.915 and a speed of 192.99 mph.

Eliminations for the Pro Stock Motorcycle class and the rest of the NHRA Full Throttle Series kicks off Sunday at 11 a.m. PST.
