TOP FUEL

* Tony Schumacher, from Chicago, powered his U.S. Army dragster to his 39th career victory by defeating Bob Vandergriff in the final round. Schumacher won with a time of 4.534 seconds at 329.42 mph. This is his fourth win of the season and his first win in Sonoma.

* Doug Herbert, from Cherryville, N.C, claimed his fourth career No. 1 qualifying effort in his Snap-on Tool dragster with a performance 4.556 seconds at 315.64 mph. It was his first top qualifier of 2007 and his first since 2005.

* Brandon Bernstein, Larry Dixon, J.R. Todd and Tony Schumacher clinched their positions in the Top 8 of the Countdown to the Championship.

* Dixon's Skytel team earned the Full Throttle Pit Crew Championship award.

FUNNY CAR

* John Force, from Yorba Linda, Calif., earned his 124th career victory powering his Castrol GTX High Mileage Ford Mustang to a final-round performance of 4.831 seconds at 320.58 mph.

* Mike Ashley in his Torco/Skull Gear Dodge Charger earned his fourth No.1 qualifier of the 2007 season and of his career with a performance of 4.743 seconds at 326.79 mph.

* Robert Hight earned the Motel 6 "Who Got the Light" award by defeating Tony Bartone by a .0034-second margin of victory in the quarterfinal round.

* Hight clinched his position in the Top 8 of the Countdown to the Championship.

* Notable DNQs: Scott Kalitta and Tim Wilkerson.

* Jack Beckman's Mail Terminal Services Dodge Charger team earned the Full Throttle Pit Crew Championship award.

PRO STOCK

*Greg Anderson, from Charlotte, N.C., raced to his third victory at this track and the 50th of his career by defeating Jason Line in the final round. He becomes the second quickest to 50 wins (189 starts) in NHRA history behind Bob Glidden. Glidden had 50 wins in 139 starts

*Anderson earned his 60th career No. 1 qualifying award with a performance of 6.605 seconds at 208.20 mph in his Summit Racing Pontiac GTO.

* Allen Johnson and Jason Line clinched their positions in the Top 8 of the Countdown to the Championship.

* Johnson's J&J Racing/Team Mopar Stratus team earned the Full Throttle Pit Crew Championship award.

PRO STOCK MOTORCYCLE

*Matt Smith from King, N.C., raced to his first win at Infineon Raceway and third win of the season by defeating Eddie Krawiec in the final round.

*Angelle Sampey earned her 43rd career No. 1 qualifying award with a performance of 6.924 seconds at 193.40 mph on her U.S. Army Suzuki.

* Sampey's U.S. Army Suzuki team earned the Full Throttle Pit Crew Championship award.
