Troy falls just short of field.

Troy Coughlin began the final day of qualifying anchoring the top-half of the field in the No. 8 position. In the third qualifying session Troy was forced to shut off. He slipped to the No. 19 spot by the end of the session.

In the final session Troy was on the outside looking in. The heat of the day was a hurdle Team JEG'S had to jump over if they wanted both JEG'S Mail Order Chevy Cavaliers competing on race day.

Troy went into tire shake just after launching from the starting line and was forced to shut off.

"We just got too aggressive for what the starting line would handle," said Troy. "Both of our JEG'S Mail Order Chevy Cavaliers reacted the same. We will use all of the data we generated as a team and work on getting my brother (Jeg) into the winner's circle here in Seattle and move on to Sonoma."
