KENT, Wash. (July 23, 2006) -- Tony Schumacher moved to fourth in the NHRA's Top Fuel standings as five drivers raced to victory in the Schuck's Auto Supply Nationals at Pacific Raceways.

Schumacher won in Top Fuel, Whit Bazemore was the winner in Funny Car, Allen Johnson won in Pro Stock, Brian Hough took the Top Alcohol Funny Car title and Jirka Kaplan was the winner in Competition Eliminator.

The five wins bring Goodyear's victory total in NHRA national competition to 74 for the season. That total is better than all other tiremakers combined.

The weekend's track conditions were very difficult. The ambient temperature was 98 degrees at the time of the finals and the track temperature was 130 degrees.

Bazemore narrowly beat Ron Capps in the Funny Car final. The margin of victory was slightly more than a tenth of a second.
