Treble likes new bike's potential

Reading, PA -- Friday Pit Note: Friday qualifying at the Lucas Oil Nationals was shortened by rain, leaving just a single, late night session in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Craig Treble debuted his new Matco Tools Suzuki, running a strong 7.170 / 185, good for the No. 3 spot. "We are very pleased with our opening run here in Reading." Said Treble. "This is only the 4th pass this bike has made, and two of them have been with 1.08 60 foot times. I know there is more in this bike."

Qualifying is scheduled to resume Saturday at Maple Grove, but the remainder of the event including final eliminations is threatened by the forecast of continued rain throughout the weekend.

"I really hope the rain will hold off because I want to run this bike again right now. Our Friday pass was nice and straight, but we missed the clutch just a bit and that left some on the table. Calvin and Mike have put in a lot of time getting this new bike ready so it's rewarding to have everything work so well on it's opening pass." Said Treble.
