Location: Pomona Raceway, Pomona, CA Armed with valuable information from the first day of qualifying at the 41st annual AutoZone Winternationals, Pro Stock competitors, including Century 21 Pro Stock pilot Tom Martino, hit the Pomona Raceway track on Friday looking for improvement. Martino was among those who bettered their initial attempt, gaining over a hundredth of a second with his 6.893 second, 200.29 mph effort. With two sessions remaining on Saturday, the Century 21 Pro Stock Grand Am now sits 15th, with Martino determined to continue his forward progress.

"We made a series of changes to our Century 21 Grand Am after yesterday's qualifying session looking to make a better run. Although we lowered our time, naturally we were looking for more. It's all part of getting to know this new Century 21 Grand Am. We'll keep working at it, with each run giving us more data to work with, but the important part is that we maintain our position in the field. That remains our primary focus."
