RISLONE'S REICHERT ON TOP OF POINTS HEADING INTO BRAINERD

(Owosso, MI) As the NHRA event trail barrels through the heat and humidity of the summer, one driver in the ultra-competitive Top Alcohol class stands out head and shoulders above the rest as the hottest driver on the tour.

Owosso, Michigan's Bill Reichert, driver of the Rislone Engine Treatment Top Alcohol Dragster, heads into the NHRA's next national event at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, MN on top of both the national and Division 3 points standings. Reichert, who is the defending NHRA Top Alcohol champion, looks to extend his lead heading into the remaining six races of the national event season.

"We've been having a fantastic year thus far," said Reichert. "It hasn't been without its rough spots, but this Rislone Engine Treatment team always seems to have what it takes to pull through in the clutch and make a win happen."

On July 25th, Reichert and his team pulled off their most recent win at an NHRA Division 3 event at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, OH. Reichert (who builds his own engines and serves as his own crew chief/tuner) qualified number one against a stacked field of competitors.

Qualifying atop a 8-car field that isn't short on talent is no easy task, but Reichert backed that impressive feat up three rounds later during the final round of eliminations as he rocketed his black and yellow dragster across the finish line first and into victory lane.

"What a weekend we had in Columbus! The track itself tried to throw a couple curve balls at us," Reichert explained. "But with as many runs as we've made down that track over the years, we were able to make the right changes to our setup and sneak right past the rest of this field."

He added that "Having a great sponsor like Rislone on board with us for all these years has been a critical ingredient in the recipe for success that we've been able to develop. From our friends Bob and Clay and Shelly at the top, right down to the Rislone Engine Treatment product itself, everything Rislone does for us plays a huge role in what we've been able to accomplish."

So with all of that momentum heading into the last several races of the season, is it safe to say Reichert is optimistic about his team's chances to bring home yet another Top Alcohol title?

"We aren't willing to settle for anything less, so that's what we're aiming for."
