Lasoski finishes near the top in the WoO "Down Under"
Team Mopar driver Danny Lasoski posted a second-place finish as the World of Outlaws series kicked off the season at Parramatta City Raceway in Australia.
Danny Lasoski and the No. 20 Mopar World of Outlaws Sprint Car team didn't waste any time heading to the front, as the series kicked off the 2005 season at the Parramatta City Raceway in Sydney, Australia on Jan. 13. "The Dude" set the quick time for the field of 70 cars, turning a lap of 12.017 seconds (137.80 km/h) to blaze the field. The pole award gives the No. 20 their first mark of the season.
Lasoski led the majority of the A-main event, but a late racetrack position change saw him take the checkered flag in second place. Round two action of the WoO Down Under was rained out last night.
