Coughlin brothers looking for strong weekend.

With five races to go until the inaugural NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series season is etched in the record books there are plenty of battles heating up. The Pro Stock class has plenty of eyes watching the battles taking place in the ultra-competitive class down the final stretch.

Jeg Coughlin leads the class with 4 wins this season. He is ready to strike from the No. 3 position in the Championship points and regain the top spot. Jeg has 1132 points and is 74 points from the leader.

"The importance of every round will intensify for everyone over the last five races. We got beat in the first round at Reading and left the door open. The team that can make the least amount of mistakes and capitalize on the misfortunes of others will be the one that will be the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Champion. Our team is focused and ready for the challenge at hand," calmly explained Jeg.

Troy Coughlin is mounting a late season charge. His goal is to return to the top ten of the POWERade Championship. He has one win this season and is 188 points out of the No. 10 spot with five races to go.

"Our consistency has improved recently. Our goal is to put eight strong runs together in Memphis and put us in a position to win the race," commented Troy.
