Improvement at NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals as Nance looks to next event
CLERMONT, Ind. - - Continuing to fight mechanical gremlins, Larry Nance, from Akron, Ohio, and his Team Marines Cavalier never got untracked at the 48th annual Mac Tools U. S. Nationals qualifying in the 35th position.
"We made some changes to the Team Marines Cavalier and are still trying to get the changes sorted out, but the car is nice and smooth going down the track. We just got to work on the 60-foot times and get it back to where it was before Brainerd. As soon as we do that, we'll be right back to where we were. Hopefully, we be back on track at Maple Grove," said Nance at the end of qualifying.
The next event for Nance and his Team Marines Cavalier will be the Lucas Oil Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pa., in two weeks.
