Jeg and his Jeg's Mail Order Oldsmobile Cutlass started the fourth qualifying session sitting in the No. 14 position. He ran a 7.060 at 194.35 mph and was No. 12 for the session. Jeg did not improve his time or his position.

"We have spent time looking over everything on this car to find out why the car is not responding," said Jeg.

Troy ran a 6.996 at 196.64 mph and remained in the No. 6 spot. He was the ninth quickest of the session.

"We are making solid runs in my car and it is helping us to learn more about the track," explained Troy.

Jeg pulled to the starting line needing to improve his qualifying position during the final session. When the Olds Cutlass left the line the engine ran into problems and he was forced to coast to the finish line. Jeg slipped all the way to the No. 16 spot.

"We got lucky," said Jeg. "We have been behind the eight ball all weekend. We are going to be ready for battle in the morning."

Troy stayed in the No. 6 spot. He ran a 7.023 at 195.22 mph and made the nint h quickest run of the final session.

"We have been making small moves in the set up of my car," said Troy. "We have a firm handle on the track and we will be ready for raceday."

Jeg Coughlin will face off against Mark Osborne in the opening round. Troy Coughlin will go head-to-head against Rickie Smith. Jeg and Troy will battle from opposite sides of the ladder to meet in the final round.
