Baytown, Texas - - At the season-opening AutoZone Winternationals, Jeff Gracia, from Ontario, Calif., qualified his GMC Sonoma in the fifth qualifying position and advanced to the semi-finals before a hometown crowd in Pomona, Calif. At last weekend's Mac Tools Gatornationals, he qualified in the fourth spot, before rains washed away eliminations. Now the thirty-four-year-old driver wants to continue the momentum that has been generated in those two races here at the O'Reilly Nationals presented by Pennzoil this weekend.

"We've started out the year on a high note. Hopefully, we can keep that going at Houston. This year I would like to win a race or two," says Gracia. "If I win one or two, then I think I can finish in the top five in the point battle. Long range, I want to win a championship. With Panella Motorsports and teammate Bob Panella, Jr., I'm definitely with a team that has shown the ability to win. That's a good feeling and gives you confidence."

Qualifying for the O'Reilly Nationals presented by Pennzoil begins Friday for all professional classes with two sessions and concludes on Saturday with two additional sessions. Final eliminations begin at 12 noon (ET) on Sunday.
