ANDERSON WINS THIRD STRAIGHT PRO STOCK WALLY AT HEARTLAND PARK TOPEKA

TOPEKA, Kan. (May 29, 2005) - Greg Anderson, the two-time defending NHRA POWERade Pro Stock champion found the winner's circle for a third straight week and for the third consecutive year at Heartland Park Topeka in Sunday's final round of the 2005 O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Summer Nationals.

Anderson (Concord, N.C.) was the number one qualifier and defeated Dave Connolly (Elyria, Ohio) in the final round with a 6.768 second pass at 203.65 MPH. Connolly, the number three qualifier, put down a 6.907 second pass at 203.68 MPH.

The 2004 SPEED Channel Driver of the Year won the 34th race of his career in his 50th final round.

Heartland Park Topeka, a multi-purpose racing facility located in Topeka, Kan. annually hosts NHRA POWERade drag racing, Championship OFF-Road Racing (CORR), and the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) in addition to many other events throughout the race season.
