Anderson Wins in E-Town; S. Kalitta Remembered

While Chicago Pneumatic supporting racer Greg Anderson collected the Wally in Pro Stock competition at the Lucas Oil SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J., on Sunday, everyone's thoughts were with fallen racer Scott Kalitta's family, team, friends and colleagues during the somber Winner's Circle ceremonies.

Anderson and car owner Ken Black dedicated their win and gave their trophy to Kalitta's team during post-race ceremonies.

Kalitta was involved in a horrific accident which claimed his life during the final Funny Car qualifying round on Saturday afternoon. Kalitta was a two-time Top Fuel champion with back-to-back championships in 1994 and 1995.

He is survived by his father, team owner and legendary drag racer Connie "The Bounty Hunter" Kalitta, wife, Kathy and two sons, Corey and Colin.

Chicago Pneumatic would like to express our deepest sympathies, support and prayers during this tragic time for the Kalitta family and teams, and everyone in the NHRA community mourning his death.
