LINCOLNTON, N.C. (January 25, 2007)--With the National Time Trials at Firebird International Speedway merely hours away, Doug Herbert, driver of the Snap-On Tools Top Fuel Dragster, inches closer and closer to kicking off what promises to be an amazing 2007 season.

"I am more excited than ever to go testing," says the North Carolina resident. "We are more prepared than we have been in years. Our crew chief, Doug Kuch, has gone over the car front to back, top to bottom, and we're ready to go."

The entire team has spent the winter months, nights and weekends included, getting the Snap-On Tools Top Fuel Dragster race ready. With a new tech trailer full of parts and equipment, the team has a full arsenal prepared to create a winning season.

"Doug and the crew have worked really hard here at the shop to get us back in contention. We have held the track record at Phoenix on several different occasions. Back in '93 we had the best run in testing," says Herbert, "and I'm ready to do it again."

With the door to the new season opening in less than 24 hours, Doug Herbert and the Snap-On Tools Top Fuel Dragster Team are ready: ready to test, ready to race, and ready to win.
