Tom Martino continued his trend of recent qualifying success with two solid runs during Friday qualifying sessions at Bandimere Speedway. Martino's best elapsed time of 7.308 seconds, which came with a top speed of 188.57 mph, placed the CENTURY 21 Pro Stock Grand Am 8th with two final attempts remaining on Saturday. Pleased with the day's work, Martino will now turn his attention to his race-day tune-up.

"It's a good start for the CENTURY 21 crew. We got down both lanes with respectable times, which gives us a lot to work with on Saturday. It's not easy getting the tune-up right in the thin air here in Denver, so we will spend tomorrow fine-tuning rather than making wholesale changes. I think we have pretty good package in our Grand Am right now, but that won't stop us from trying to make it even better for Sunday."
