Anderson Gets His Eighth

Rock Hill, SC. -- (June 15, 2004) Chicago Pneumatic (CP), manufacturer of high quality automotive, construction and industrial tools and Greg Anderson continue to turbo the NHRA Pro Stock competition in 2004!

This past weekend at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio, Greg Anderson found himself in the Winner's Circle for the eighth time this season.

In finals, Anderson was challenged by 21-year-old young gun, Dave Connolly.

Connolly had a better jump off the line than Anderson, but Connolly's jump couldn't hold off Anderson's Pontiac power near the 60-foot mark.

Anderson's victory at National Trail marks his third win in a row at the track.

Anderson dedicated Sunday's win to him wife Kim, who was celebrating her 34th birthday.

The National Hot Rod Association heads to the Old Bridge Township Raceway in Englishtown, N.J., for the 35th annual K&N Filters SuperNationals this weekend.
