HAGAN WILL RACE DIEHARD DODGE IN FOUR-WIDE FINAL ON MONDAY

CONCORD, N.C. (March 28, 2010) - Matt Hagan advanced to the final round of the Inaugural NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, which were postponed until Monday because of rain.

Hagan, driving the DieHard Dodge Charger Funny Car for Don Schumacher Racing, will face Ashley Force Hood, John Force and his DSR teammate Ron Capps in the final.

In the opening round of four-wide eliminations, Hagan earned lane choice for the semifinal by winning that round against Robert Hight, Paul Lee and Jeff Arend using a 4.040-second elapsed time at 312.42 mph. In the semifinal he posted a 4.106/305.98 against Paul Lee, Cruz Pedregon and Ashley Force Hood, and was the second driver to advance along with Force Hood.

The final round will be held at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, March 29. ESPN2's continuation of coverage of the rain-delayed NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway has been scheduled for Monday at 12:30 p.m. (ET).
