BROWNSBURG, IN (May 20, 2009) --- John Force Racing East, the Midwest headquarters of the most successful team in Funny Car drag racing history, will open its doors to the public Saturday, May 23rd , from 10 a.m.-to-2 p.m. as part of the 3rd annual Brownsburg Motorsports Network Open House.

Fans will be permitted to tour the spacious team race shop that includes the race shop, machine shop, fab shop, and paint shop. John Force's Castrol GTX High Mileage Ford Mustang, Ashley Force Hood's Castrol GTX Ford Mustang, Robert Hight's Auto Club Ford Mustang, Mike Neff's Ford Drive One Mustang and Eric Medlen's Castrol Syntec Ford Mustang will be on display in the shop for fans to view and snap photos.

"We are pleased to open our doors and let race fans from across Indiana see our race shop," said Kelly Antonelli, JFR Marketing Director and Brownsburg resident. "Last year we saw tremendous interest in our shop and we have made some improvements to the fan experience including a number of Sanyo flat screen TVs throughout our complex showing highlights and behind the scenes footage."

Currently The Eric Medlen Tribute Room is under construction and will not be open until September in time for the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals.

The John Force Racing souvenir trailer will be on-site for the event with a wide variety of souvenirs and memorabilia available to fans.

Last year's Brownsburg Motorsports Network Open House was very successful with thousands of race fans touring a number of shops. The goal of the event is to attract fans that are in town for the Indianapolis 500 to Brownsburg to show them what Brownsburg Motorsports is all about.
