RIVAS LOOKS FORWARD TO MORE RIDING TIME AT O'REILLY NHRA SPRING NATIONALS

BAYTOWN, Tex., March 25, 2008- Chris Rivas wants the additional race laps this weekend's 21st Annual O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals here at Houston Raceway Park will provide to improve his start- line and overall performance on the G2 Motorsports/Drag Specialties/S&S Cycle V-Twin. At the first race of the 2008 NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Motorcycle season two weeks ago in Gainesville, Fla., his first for the team, rain shortened qualifying to two runs and Rivas went out during the second round of the race with a 7.065-second e.t. at 189.87 miles per hour against Matt Guidera - the eventual race winner - who had a 6.944 e.t. at 192.41 mph.

This time around, Rivas is expecting more rounds on his G2 Motorsports/Drag Specialties/S&S Cycle V-Twin and is hopeful electrical issues discovered in Gainesville have been resolved. "I'm excited to get back on the motorcycle," said the 41-year-old Fresno, Calif. native. "I haven't had a lot of time on it, so I'm eager to turn more laps and work on our 60-foot performance." As for how Rivas feels about his new team, he commented, "I'm glad we're always working together; it feels like a family, like I'm coming home."

Last season at the Spring Nationals here, Rivas made it to the semi-finals against Craig Treble. Rivas went out in elimination round three, with 7.301 e.t. at 178.12 mph, while Treble posted a 7.138 e.t. at 186.72 miles per hour.
