NHRA teams always look forward to the challenge of the U.S. Nationals at the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis for their marquee classic event which locks up the top 10 for the Countdown to the Championship.
Brown and S. Gray also score victories at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the NHRA Toyota Nationals.
Capps took the Funny Car victory over his teammate Hagan at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway. Massey grabbed the Top Fuel win. In Pro Stock, it was Edwards who celebrated.
Motorsport.com counts down the top 20 moments of 2013, and start things off with John Force claiming his 16th NHRA title.
Courtney Force won the Funny Car opener at Pomona and Eric Enders-Stevens Pro Stock at Phoenix. This the first time that two women have opened a season with consecutive wins.

Enders became the third female to win this award and joins Ashley Force Hood who received it in 2010 and 2011 recipient, Danica Patrick.
The tradition-rich season-opening event for the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series is scheduled for Feb. 6-9 at historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona in Southern California.
