allows us to use cutting edge technology that will help on the race
course,” said Wayne Worthy, Owner of Hydro-Tec Marine Performance,
Inc., a Yamaha vendor and engine builder in Nixa, Missouri.“
Although we don’t have the years of engine development that the
other brands have, we have been developing our Formula One engine for 12
years through our High Performance Department. We appreciate the
opportunity that Bart Garbrecht of the PROP tour has allowed us and I
think the fans of our sport deserve a new look.”
“Yamaha will definitely be a factor this season on the
water,” said Bart Garbrecht, President of the P.R.O.P. Tour.“
Yamaha Outboards has been a supporter of the P.R.O.P. Tour for the last
three seasons and they are very excited about competing for a full season
with a two-boat team. We look forward to working with a professional
outboard motor manufacturing company that realizes the benefits and
exposure that the P.R.O.P. tour brings with its prime time ESPN2
package.”

three years in the Formula 50 class where he won a National Championship.
