Kenseth on racing in the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona:
"Last year we were able to learn a lot about the car's set-up and
handling due to the extra track time you get when you're selected to
participate in the Shootout. I think that additional track time will be
even more important this year with the bigger restrictor plate we're
allowed to run. We'll be going a lot faster at Daytona, so handling
will be even more important than it has been in the past."
Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing in the Budweiser Shootout at
Daytona:
"The Shootout will be extremely useful this year due to the new rule
changes with the bigger restrictor plate and the adjustments to the
wing. The Shootout will be an advantage to get cars into race trim
before the rest of the field for the Daytona 500 has that chance. We
have an opportunity to try changes that we worked on over the winter to
see if we can make what we had last year even better. I'm ready to
get down to Daytona and unload our cars for Shootout practice this
week."
