American International Auto Show
Sergio Marchionne to headline as keynote speaker at first automotive show
of 2010
Troy, MI - November 25, 2009 - Automotive News has announced their World
Congress will be held this year on January 12-14 at the Detroit Marriott
Renaissance Center, a scheduling change and the proximity to the show
means that it will be easier for participants to attend both events. The
event will include the industry's top executives explaining how they will
compete and survive in an industry preparing for new opportunities,
economic recovery and growth.
Opening Tuesday afternoon, January 12, which is also the second and final
day of media preview for the 2010 NAIAS, the Automotive News World
Congress will feature Sergio Marchionne, Chief Executive Officer,
Chrylser LLC. Other speakers will include top executives from GM, Ford,
Honda, and Toyota.
Offering a new, tighter format, the event will provide attendees access
to the most influential and powerful automotive industry leaders, content
and contacts, and a pass to visit the auto show on Thursday, January 14th
before it opens to the public.
Registration also includes access to the presentation of the Polk Loyalty
Awards on Tuesday evening and the presentation of the BorgWarner owner
and driver trophies, as well as the Automotive

evening.

is the only auto show in the United States to earn an annual
