For Henri Pescarolo himself, there is nothing to be added to the title of the ACO Press Release!
Both victories, in LMP1 and LMP2, for Pescarolo prototypes in Asian Le Mans
Series.
The Pescarolo-Judd entered by Sora Racing and operated by Pescarolo Sport
proved to be, once more, one of the best LMP1 cars on the track: victory in
the first round and second position in the second round after fantastic
battles with the Lola Aston-Martin, the Oreca-AIM and the two Audis.
Christophe Tinseau was discovering the track and his team-mate Shinji
Nakano was discovering the Pescarolo-Judd; they can both feel proud to have
won the first-ever Asian Le Mans Series race.
Team Oak Racing brilliantly won the LMP2 category in a Pescarolo-Mazda
driven as usual by Jacques Nicolet, Richard Hein and Matthieu Lahaye.
The title won in Asian Le Mans Series, following the second position behind
the manufacturer Aston-Martin achieved in Le Mans Series, constitutes a
superb reward for the entire Team Pescarolo Sport.
