Lutz Takes ASCS Regional Showdown Win at I-90
HARTFORD, S.D. (July 24, 2009) -- The Iron-Man of the
ASCS Northern Plains Region captured his third career series win by
topping Friday night's 25-lap ASCS Midwest vs. Northern Plains Regional
main event at I-90 Speedway.
Eric raced around pole starter Danielle Ossenfort on the eighth round en
route to victory lane aboard Monte Lutz' Bruns-powered Dell Rapids
Chevrolet/Pontiac No. 5 Maxim, lapping up to tenth place in the non-stop
affair.
Lutz took the checkered flag in front of eighth-starter Lou Kennedy, Jr.,
with Chad Humston, Thomas Kennedy and Robby Wolfgang rounding out the top
five.
Joe Riedel was sixth, with Donovan Peterson, Jason Danley, Ossenfort and
"B" Main winner Lee Grosz completing the top ten.
Heat races were won by Ossenfort, Humston and L. Kennedy.
