Justin aiming high in Edmonton
Fully recharged after a rare weekend off, Justin and Dale Coyne Racing
return to the fray this weekend for Sunday's Rexall Edmonton Indy
in Alberta, Canada. The 1.973 mile circuit is one of a kind - a temporary
airport track with some permanent corners. Justin won here in 2006 and
finished on the podium in 2007 and 2008. He's hoping to be fighting
at the sharp end once again this weekend.
"I've loved this track since the first year we came here with Champ
Car," said Justin. "It always has a good atmosphere and the layout is
fantastic: it's all about controlled aggression - very demanding, but at
the same time you have to be precise. We've been very competitive
on the road and street circuits this year and I hope to continue that in
Edmonton. It would be great to have another podium for Dale Coyne
Racing."
Justin provides turn-by-turn commentary around Edmonton in View from the
Cockpit on JW TV at www.justinwilson.co.uk.
Practice begins on Friday 24 July and qualifying is on Saturday 25 July,
with a live qualifying show from 6 p.m. EDT for fans in the US on Versus.
The Rexall Edmonton Indy can be seen on live on Sunday July 26 at 5:00
p.m. EDT on Versus. For UK viewers, Sky Sports 2 has live TV coverage on
Saturday from 10.30 p.m. BST. Live timing and scoring, radio and video
coverage is available through www.indycar.com.
