W. RICHLAND, Wash. - Jason Jefferson was victorious in the NAPA 150 at Tri-City Raceway on Saturday night - winning in his first start in a NASCAR Grand National Division, Winston West Series event.

Jefferson thrilled the fans at his home track by steadily charging to the front from his sixth-place starting position. He took the lead on lap 123 and held on for a margin of victory of .535 of a second.

Kevin Richards, who dominated much of the event, finished second. He was followed by Scott Gaylord, Mark Reed and Jeff Jefferson. Rounding out the top 10 were Brandon Riehl, Mike Duncan, Ed Watson, Jim Inglebright and Steve Portenga.
