DID YOU KNOW...The NASCAR Winston West Series begins a new era with the Bosch Spark Plugs 150 with new rules governing the chassis and engines. The NWWS and the Busch North Series will share common rules. Goodyear is the sole tire provider for both series.

NOTES AND QUOTES: This is the 2003 season opener for the NASCAR Winston West Series. Goodyear has a long history with the NWWS, but this race will be Goodyear's first race back since the 2000 season.

** GOODYEAR TIRE NOTE: This is the same tire combination the Winston West Series will use at Irwindale Speedway and Rocky Mountain Raceways. The Busch North Series, NASCAR Touring, will use this combination for races at New Hampshire International Speedway, Stafford Motor Speedway and Thompson International Speedway.

** GOODYEAR QUOTE: Chad Fletcher, Marketing Manager: "Goodyear is excited to once again be the official tire of the NASCAR Winston West Series as we re-enter the series after a two-year hiatus. Goodyear brings an excellent tire package to the Winston West competition in 2003. It represents a culmination of many years of engineering advancements in bias race tire technology that draws its roots directly from our years of experience in Winston Cup racing. Goodyear looks forward to an exciting 2003 season."
