MADERA, Calif. - Mike Duncan won the NAPA 150 at Madera (Calif.) Speedway on Saturday night to capture his first career win in the NASCAR Grand National Division, Winston West Series.

Duncan dashed into the lead on the second lap and held off numerous challenges by Mike David to win by .270 of a second.

Third across the line was Johnny Borneman, with Scott Lynch and Eric Holmes close behind. Steve Portenga, Mark Reed, Jim Inglebright, Scott Gaylord and Gene Woods rounded out the top 10.

Portenga retained the lead in the championship standings for the Winston West Series over Inglebright, 645 to 610.
