TOOELE, Utah -- David Mayhew jumped to the top of the speed chart in the second and final round of practice for the NASCAR Camping World Series West at Miller Motorsports Park on Friday.

Mayhew, driving the No. 21 BayBioDiesel/RCR Chevrolet, lapped the 3.06-mile road course at an average speed of 93.747 mph. The Atascadero, Calif., competitor had been third quickest in Friday's earlier practice session.

Austin Cameron El Cajon, Calif., turned in the second-quickest time of the day with a lap of 93.110 mph -- edging the time of 93.087 mph turned in by his teammate Moses Smith of Tempe, Ariz. They were followed by Jim Inglebright and Jeff Jefferson.

Jason Bowles - who won the inaugural NASCAR event at the Utah track a year ago - was sixth on the final speed chart, after topping the first practice session. Eric Holmes, the top driver in the championship standings coming into the event, was eighth quickest.

Qualifying for the NASCAR Camping World Series West is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, with the NASCAR Camping World Series 125 slated to go green at 1:45 p.m. It is the 10th of 13 races on the circuit this year.
