LOGANO WINS NASCAR GRAND NATIONAL WEST RACE AT PIR

AVONDALE, Ariz. (April 19, 2007) -- Some guys just can't wait to grow up and Joey Logano is one of them.

Logano, a 16-year old member of the Joe Gibbs Racing development program, won the AlphaTrade.com 150 for the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series at Phoenix International Raceway. Marc Davis, another 16-year old driving for JGR, was second.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier for the Grand National Division, which also includes the Grand National Division, East Series. The bias-ply tires Goodyear supplies the two series helps control racing costs and means that the drivers in NASCAR's top five series all race on Goodyear rubber.

Veteran Mike David finished third at PIR. Jeff Barkshire started 21st and finished fourth, followed by Jesus Hernandez.

The winner averaged 82.626 mph over the 150-lap distance and had a victory margin of slightly more than a second. Duncan won the pole with a qualifying speed of 128.233 mph.

David leads the championship standings with 335 points, Davis is next with 297 and Tim Woods III is third with 280.
