IRWINDALE, Calif. -- Andrew Myers won by a bumper over a hard-charging Eric Holmes to take the victory in the King Taco 200 NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series event at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday.

Myers had taken the lead on lap 136 and appeared late in the event to be cruising to his second win of the season. Two late-race cautions, meanwhile, provided Holmes with an opportunity to make a dash for his first career series win. It was not to be, however, as Myers crossed the finish line .016 of a second ahead of Holmes.

Series veteran Scott Gaylord finished a close third, with Tim Woods III taking fourth and defending series champion Mike Duncan in fifth.

A sixth-place finish was enough for Mike David to retain his lead in the championship standings.
