FONTANA, Calif. - Ken Schrader held off a late charge by Clint Bowyer to win the King Taco 200 NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series race at California Speedway on Saturday.

Schrader, who started seventh on the grid, charged into the lead on a lap-74 restart after Bowyer's car momentarily faulted due to transmission problems. Bowyer was eventually able to get his car back up to speed. He attempted to chase Schrader down in the closing stages of the race, but came up .259 of a second short.

Scott Lynch crossed the line for third, followed by Scott Gaylord and Kevin Conway.

The win marked the 10th series victory for Schrader, a regular competitor in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. It was his third series win at the two-mile superspeedway.
